Textile designs
My designs are created to produce patterns intended for printing, weaving, or embroidery, whether crafted in my workshop by hand or produced industrially elsewhere, on fabrics for ready-to-wear or luxury home furnishings. My inspirations come from my walks, as well as from studying the landscapes and materials I encounter and collect. The patterns can be drawn using various techniques, such as ink drawing, painting, chalk, collage, etc. Each technique brings a unique texture and effect to the final pattern. I work traditionally by manually creating the repeat to ensure the pattern repeats seamlessly, with digital tools used when necessary.

Hand-painting
Unlike digital printing, hand-painting is a skill that requires more manual intervention and remains a highly artisanal process. Each piece created through hand-painting is unique, enhancing the exclusive and artistic value of the textile ornement.

Techniques can be combined so that hand painting enhances certain details of a print, adding light or contrast. Hand painting offers greater freedom than printing techniques but cannot be done industrially.

Screen printing, flocking, and coating
Traditional screen printing, also known as "à la lyonnaise", involves the use of a stretched screen on a metal frame through which ink is pressed to transfer patterns onto the fabric. This printing method offers precise control of colors and enduction, allowing creative flexibility on various textile surfaces.

The screen-printing method allows me to create inks, sometimes incorporating collected and precious materials, from the nobility of quartz crystals to basic masonry mortar

Hand embroidery and other interventions
Textiles are an endless source of inspiration for me, and experimentation lies at the heart of my work. All embellishment techniques such as laser cutting, embroidery, and weaving are employed to unveil possibilities and create magic.
